"A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person." Mignon McLaughlin
I had the privilege recently of leading the funeral ceremony of a wonderful lady whose distraught husband told me, with tears in his eyes, that they had been married for 65 years. Wow! I thought - that's quite something. I was absolutely full of admiration for this remarkable couple. It was such a joy to hear their story and an honour to be able to tell it, for it was abundantly clear to me that theirs was a love that was as strong at the end as it had been in 1959 when they first made their wedding vows. That made it even more clear to me that enduring love stories like this one are definitely worth celebrating, and what better way than in a Vow Renewal Ceremony.
A Vow Renewal is your chance to celebrate your love and togetherness, and to declare your commitment to each other as you write the next chapter in your book of love.
It gives you the chance, too, to include all those who have become part of your story somewhere along the way - your children, grandchildren and maybe even great grandchildren - and who, no doubt, love you to bits. A Vow Renewal Ceremony is a celebration, not just of your enduring love for each other, but of the legacy you have created from it. And the memories of that special day can be with you - and your family - forever.

When You Book A Ceremony With Me
I can promise you a very positive, emotional experience that reflects your journey together as a couple - all the , fun times you've had, joys you've experienced, and the memories you share. By listening to your story, I can design a ceremony exactly to your taste and which includes all the people that you want it to - especially those who weren't there the first time around.
I will create for you a bespoke ceremony script that will captivate your audience with its wonderful story of your enduring love. I can create your vows or promises - unless, of course, you want to write them yourself. If you want to keep them as a surprise element on the day, that's okay too. Many couples like to include a symbolic element or two into their ceremony, something that means something to them, and I am more than happy to advise on these as well.
As an English graduate, former English teacher and lifelong lover of romantic literature, I can help you to choose readings and poems that reflect your love for each other, the longevity of your relationship, and how you feel to be embarking on the next chapter of your story.
Remember, it's at times like these that words really do matter.
